Multiplying the Mission Through Leadership

As we continue to grow as a church, we are increasingly aware that growth is not simply about more people in the room. It is about more disciples being formed, more families being shepherded, more leaders being equipped, and more opportunities to bring the transforming power of Christ into homes, workplaces, schools, and neighborhoods across Central and Eastern Geauga County.

That is why we want to take a moment this week to share (or remind?) two important staffing updates with the church family.

First, we have officially begun the search for our Associate Pastor of Adult Ministries. This role is a significant next step in helping Cornerstone strengthen and multiply our ministry to adults through discipleship, shepherding, leadership development, and care. As the Lord continues to bring people to our church, we want to be faithful not merely to gather people, but to equip them to grow in Christ and serve His mission. Learn more about the role HERE.

Second, we are still searching for the right person to serve in our Ministry Operations and Executive Assistant role. This role will help support the day-to-day ministry and administrative needs of the church so that our pastors, elders, ministry leaders, and volunteers can serve with greater focus, clarity, and effectiveness. Learn more about the role HERE.

Both of these roles are deeply connected to our mission. We exist to glorify Christ by leading people to Know Jesus, to Grow into His likeness, and to Go and make Him known. As the ministry expands, we need the right people in the right seats to help strengthen the church for the work God has placed before us.

Would you pray with us?

Pray that the Lord would provide the right people, at the right time, with the right gifts, character, and calling. Pray for wisdom for the elders as they evaluate candidates. Pray that these roles would not simply fill needs, but help multiply the mission of Cornerstone for years to come.

And finally, would you help us spread the word? If you know someone who may be a strong fit for either role, please point them to the job postings or encourage them to reach out.
Christ is building His church, and it is our joy to be faithful in the part He has entrusted to us.
