North Carolina Missions Trip

July 14th-20th

Cost? $60 Register by: Sunday, June 9th

Jesus told His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest” (Matthew 9:37-38, ESV). Think of the great need of the harvest in North Carolina, where people are still suffering from the effects of Hurricane Florence. What a great ministry opportunity for your students as they pursue God’s gospel-centered plan for their lives, including the task of proclaiming the gospel to the lost.
Why? Hurricane Florence took so much from so many as it devastated eastern North Carolina. Our goal is to be a light for Christ not only in removing debris and repairing houses but also in speaking with and praying with those who have lost so much, giving them hope only Jesus Christ can give.
What? A week-long venture to North Carolina hosted by the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina to live out Jesus’ call to share the gospel of Christ in word and deed through hurricane disaster relief. Students will be led and transported by Pastor Josh Littler and student ministry leaders John and Cathy Zurick.
Where? We will serve throughout the Kelly, NC, area. Lodging, meals, and showers will be provided by Natmoore Baptist Church of Kelly, NC.
How? Students must bring their own cot/air mattress and bedding as well as work clothes and, most importantly, a spirit of gospel-hopefulness and a desire to serve in the name of Christ.
