        New Series on Sunday Morning

When talking about knowing who God is and venturing into a specific study of Him and His character, it is best to narrow down the conversation. We’re going to do on Sunday mornings for the next several months by focusing in on His attributes. My hope would be that you would come to know God to a greater degree but also realize how knowing God has tremendous practical implications for your life. I hope that you will plan on joining us at services which begin at 10:15 am every Sunday morning.

~Pastor Luke

Children Ministry Opportunity

Have you thought about getting involved in our Children’s Ministry?     2019 Operation Christmas Child (OCC) Shoebox collection!

It’s that time of the year again!  We can start looking for great items to pack in our OCC shoeboxes (school supplies, small toys, super hero action figures, stuffed animals, flip flops, etc.), and praying for the children around the world who will receive our packed boxes.
If you’re just learning about this ministry for the first time, packing an OCC shoebox is an opportunity to give gifts to children around the world, some who have never received a gift, and share in spreading the Gospel of Christ to them, their families and communities.  More information can be found on the Samaritan’s Purse OCC website, and in our lobby in the coming weeks.
I hope you will consider packing a shoebox this year!  Over the years, many of you have packed a box with your children, extended family, small group, bible study group, friends, or neighbors, etc.   Or, if by chance, you’d like to be a part, but don’t have time to shop, talk with me, I be happy to do that for you.
In coming weeks, empty OCC shoeboxes and details about “how to fill a box” will be in our lobby on Sunday mornings, and at the ministry center.  Be sure to pray for the child who will receive your box, and consider including a note and picture of your family inside.
Here’s the list of items that CANNOT be included in your shoebox:  candy, toothpaste, used or damaged items, war related items, seeds, chocolate or any type of food, no liquids or lotions, medications or vitamins, aerosols, or anything fragile / breakable.
I’d be happy to answer any questions you might have over the next couple months.    Packed shoeboxes will be collected on or before Sunday, November 24th.
Thank you for your enthusiastic support of this ministry.  Tish Bontrager
